Hello All,

I can't complain about the weather where I live, or say that I am 
hibernating.  Unlike parts of the country that are truly cold, when it gets 
"cold"  here (southern Califoria desert) we wear a sweater if that.  The 
cooler weather  is invigorating, though and winter is one of my favorite 
times of the year.  Spring is another favorite - the desert can be stunning 
if we have a wet winter, but we are having drought conditions now, and the 
local flora and fauna are suffering  We are hungering for some snow and we 
desparetly need rain.

I always find time to look into PhotoForum and see how everyone is dong, and 
members are never far from my mind.  I just neglect to send messages to let 
you know that I'm thinkiing about you.

This week I was able to visit a photography club in Valencia, California 
(about an hour south of where I live) and hear and see Rob Sheppard of 
Outdoor Photographer.  He gave an informative talk on how to market one's 
work.
