Emily sayz:

: You must be kidding. You're going to spend 6 months learning to use
: a microscope setup for macro shooting and $12,000 for a high end
: camera with another $1000 for quality macro lens just to avoid hiring
: a professional to do your work?
:
: And you want us to vote on your little project???? What is this? A
: popularity contest?

Emily sort of said it..

endoscopic cameras cost a small fortune, the Canon digital microscope cameras a little more. Even the adapter tubes can cost as much as a high quality macro lens.

The sort of macro work you're describing would need a number of bodies and adapters, cheap stuff from here: http://www.zarfenterprises.com/accuscopedigimicroscopes.html might get you started but it depends on your needs

what are you photographing specifically?

this is a pretty specialized field..
