Dear Peeter,
The only digital technology that delivers a true 11 stops would be something like a BetterLight scan back.
There are no current CMOS nor CCD cameras that deliver 11-stops. The good ones deliver 8-stops, the cheap digicams deliver 6-stops. This is why there is so much interest in HDR merging.
