But wait!
Isn't it true what all the MF digital back industries claim - dynamic
range of 12 f-stop?
Leaf and Phase One and Imacon?
Especially those with less megapixels, but larger pixels (7,2 up to 9
microns)?
Is it really hype?

Dear Peeter,
The only digital technology that delivers a true 11 stops would be
something like a BetterLight scan back.
There are no current CMOS nor CCD cameras that deliver 11-stops. The
good ones deliver 8-stops, the cheap digicams deliver 6-stops. This is
why there is so much interest in HDR merging.

Oh, it's easy - I am sort of planning a trip to Kuusamo area, perhaps
this
spring (February/March).
Just join in!
Although I have to get rid of my pneumonia in the first place.
And then win some project money and buy a camera with dynamic range of
12
steps :)
But thanks for kind words!

Marvelous images, Peter. Today is bad day for our heritage advocacy
group, but it's recovered and healed by the beauty of your pictures.
