You can get Plexi at any glass shop that sells mirrors, car windshields, etc.

You can also get it at a home store like Home Depot, Lowes, etc.

The two types available are:

Acrylic ( PlexiGlas brand ) and Polycarbonate ( Lexan brand )

Acrylic is easier to cut, cheaper to buy but can crack if flexed.
Polycarbonate is harder to cut, more expensive, and definitely much stronger.

The cutting tool looks like a piece of hacksaw blade with one large tooth. You just drag it along making a scraping and then repeat lots of times until you cut completely through.
