Flamewar or no flamewar, I hold to my original take on this which is: any photographer pondering a new computer who doesn't at least consider a mac is nuts. NUTS.

I would say the same thing about someone moving from film to digital; consider all your options--Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Olympus among others.

There's loads of great gear out there and as a consumer you owe it to yourself to consider ALL the options.

And once you do, you'll settle on a mac.

myself.  However, your alleged debunking of my objections is

Marilyn any new information (at least if you'll grant that we all just

knew there were support forums on Apple's web site, just as there are

for every manufacturer).

I am, however, going to forgo the point by point debunking of your

debunking, at least for now :-).
