well, I'd say: if the book gets so popular that it's possible to pay someone for administering the distribution of the proceeds, then we should talk again.
Until then, I'd happily leave the decision to the gnomes who make this whole thing come true.

Agreed. I had no monetary expectations when participating in a
project like this. Either no royalty or a small one that goes to the
list administrators is OK with me. Andy must have put many hours of
work into this already; asking him to administrate a couple of
dollars a year for each of us is simply more than I can stomach...
