You are right in matter of sqm usage but you can look on the empty space as good paspartu to your image.

Look for example on "Manuel M..." page on http://www.rit.edu/%7Eandpph/photoforum/PF-Samplepages3.jpg

I think the empty space make good for him more than the image of " Andrew D..." which fill the page.
