OR, you can get an inexpensive hot shoe to PC adapter for plugging in a synch cord if the strobes aren't IR capable. That's if you're not using an on-camera flash and don't mind losing automatic metering.

OR..

you could take a couple of slices of that old E6 film (unexposed but
developed) and place them over the small flash head, effectively turning it
into an IR trigger!
