I think you might be somewhat sheltered from the "attack on Christmas " In my travels at work, I am a computer field service rep I am wished Season's Greetings or Happy Holidays by receptionists and other personnel. When I reply "Merry Christmas" I am often told that they were told that they can't say that anymore since someone may be offended.. Sorry about that. It is the Christmas "season" or "holiday" whether they say Christmas or not.
As one of the "right wing talk radio" guys once said, "I am a POOPhead,. People Offended by Offended People". When they try to stop me from saying Merry Christmas because I am forcing my beliefs on them they completely overlook the fact that they are trying to force their beliefs on me.
