Please read another post I've placed earlier today addressed to Karl.

There are lots of data in a digital image file that the average EXIF viewer
doesn't display. I also use Photoshop CS2 and view the metadata using either
Photoshop itself or Bridge.

However, the shutter release count we discussed in another thread is just
one example of information embedded by the camera in the image file that
Photoshop doesn't display (and other EXIF viewers for that matter).

This is the reason why I am looking for either a hex editor or a "special"
EXIF viewer capable of displaying "all" fields inside of a digital RAW
image.
