Memories; This photograph puts me right in the room with the
occupant. It's almost like reading a short biography of a person.
Thanks for returning to review land Marilyn.
I debated if this picture had any merit for the gallery at all. It is
just a snapshot after all.
I stumbled over it going through some very old slides (1973!!!!!!!)
What hit me were the various styles of photos amongst the clutter.
1) "Pophleys" was where my mother was born. I could read the legend
on the scan. Google (*) will tell you that Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull)
owned it in 1976 ... my family's fortunes have obviously dropped very
far.
2) A photo of the primary school (Garston Lane) cricket team. Gran
kept all our photos - actually she kept just about everything :o)
3) An assortment of smaller family portraits: dog eared litter the
surface
Oh well, it's not art. It wasn't meant to be. The colour balance is
off - a mix of flash and tungsten indoor will always be impossible.

(*) Dropping in "Google bait" for anyone searching for Simmons family
history - the PF archives are indexed after all :o)
