It is difficult now to find references, my first thought is locate an old time computer person who may still have a DOS 6 manual. (That dates to about 1993 I suspect, in the days when they actually gave you hard copy of manuals.). Possibly look in second hand book shops. Can't offer my copy unless you want to pay postage to US, would cost approaching $20 including packing.

On the other hand I looked up "Windows command prompt" on google, with 2,400,000 hits.
