No, but they'd think it, and discuss the philosophy of what the artist chose to put in the image politely before they muttered to themselves off mic!

to the core - often presenting uncropped images simply because "that
was the apsect ratio the camera supplied "?\

Learning to look into the corners is yet another skill for photographers to cultivate. Wishing for a longer lens is yet another. And some do have a philosophical committment to cropping in the camera and making the best of it.


One must always be careful about both promulgating and slavishly following rules.
