Compared to a P&S, your studio-lit shots will look GOOD. Don't sweat it. Just shoot JPEG Fine. Time IS pressing. You want to shoot your stuff, and shuffle off to the mini-lab AND BACK in time with the prints BEFORE the guests leave.
