Hello Again, Alan,

I'm unable to get into the site to see about your gallery anniversary celebration. Is there some other way to get there? The problem could be on my end, too.

Marilyn

Marilyn,

It's a big job just to coordinate the sitters. I have been in shows in
other galleries other than the coop where I'm a member that require
that each artist put in a set amount of time (usually a day) or find a
sub. Our gallery has a paid staff person but we have limited hours.
BTW we're celebrating our 20th anniversary: http://www.gfn.org/buckham
We're experimenting with an on-line auction but it's getting off to a
sloooow start.

Hello,

Are there any co-op gallery members here at PF? If so, how do you attract
and keep gallery sitters? Is all the gallery sitting left to the co-op
members?

Those of you who participate in any way with galleries - how do those
galleries handle gallery sitting?

I am asking concerning nonprofit entities in particular, but I am interested
in hearing about any galleries.

Marilyn
