If you actually read what I wrote - I'm surprised you came back with what you did. I really thought my post was more about the effect digital (or at least practically zero-cost frames) were having on the idea of getting it right in camera. I'm sure with film the likes of 35mm made photographers less concerned with consumables - but for 10 dollars all in (36prints including free film) consumables were never that high for the sort of shot-rate most members of the public took. Indeed, once the novelty has worn off it's not the running costs that are the deciding factor (IMO) for the new converts: it's the review screen which is about the only place most photos get looked at ... and shared. The sharing is during the event [instead of the event?] not the day after. Jim and most here are taking "old" ways to the new technology. We are in the minority: "frame - focus - fire" is now, for most (seriously huge majority) a one-step process ... or at least "fire - review - delete" Bob
