It has a 20 GB disk, and uses USB2, so downloading from it is real fast. Dowloading from the card TO it is OK, but not super fast. Battery time is very good, but the battery is non-replaceable, which is the biggest disadvantage.
I chose it because it was small and rugged, but mainly because it lets you see that the transfer has indeed worked (a small, dingy, B/W displays lets you identify the inages, but not really assess the quality. But you know they´re there, at least), something that many other units don´t.
It DOES have an MP3 player. I, too, sneered at first, but on a long trip it´s actually nice to have (with classical music, of course). I even got the FM radio add-on so I can listen to news and weather forecasts.

I'm in the process of researching image storage devices. It is obvious to me this is the way to go for extended digital photo shoots in lieu of carrying a bunch of data cards. There are 4 that I'm looking at, Image Tank G2, Flash Trax, Nixvue and Vosonic. I'm thinking 20 GB should be ample storage space. The thing is I don't hear or read much about these things as to how reliable they are or their ease of use. Some of them are even equipped with MP3 players for goodness sakes. All I want to do is store images for later transfer to my computer, not listen to Brittany Spears. I would be grateful for any comments from any of you who have experience with these devices.
