that was my case exactly for my best friend's brothers wedding...
it was cool to differ, and the pro was cooperative and instructive...

this was teh exactly opposite case case from Les, although i understand him...my mother acted like that snapping during my sister's engagement and made me quit..
but and tell me: in my sisters wedding i will suggest hiring the guy that makes all my B&W prints and is very artistic in his wedding work (he runs a solely B&W shop) but can he ask me not to photograph?

very situation specific subject, and i think what we all have to start from is assing a bit more pleasure/happiness to the event...
