Sounds like Aunt Alice would be a good marketer for you! I sometimes think people who do stuff like that (my all-time favorite is the aunt who asked if she could get up on my step stool after I was finished taking group shots so she could get the same shot of my set-ups) are photographer-wanna-bes without the courage to jump in a do it. Mostly, I feel sorry for them because (I prefer to imagine) they probably work in an awful building at a ghastly day job in a room with no windows and no natural light.
