as the white lines give motion to an otherwise static scene, resulting in an interesting photo. I am sure some people will be reminded of fireworks.

they way the still hang on there like still in flight is wonderful...most stricking image i have seen for a while.the dark background is reeally fitting
what is teh tan/brown object below...first impression was that iut was you reflected...
to the best of my recollection, that object is a spent thistle head...I'm sure with a lot of work it could have been Photoshopped out of there but I decided to leave the image as it was recorded...very little was done to the image, it looks very much like the original slide.....
