Family Tree: The blue of the branches against the colorless sky bothers me. So does the fact that the trunk is black and without detail. I like the pattern the branches and leaves form and there are four branches in the lower left-hand corner that look like long, bony fingers reaching out. I like that.

Just standing under this tree is an unusual experience - not sure why.
The branches do tend to reflect skylight when wet. The fact that the trunk is black and without detail is no doubt due to poor scanning on my part - as it has very interesting detail. Reminds me of the bark of a cherry tree.
