Indeed - you can use almost any Leica screw-mount lens on any screw 
mount body or M mount body AND get metering (where available) and 
rangefinder focus coupling. The only exceptions are lenses that 
project backwards too far, such as my 35mm Jupiter Biogon copy which 
won't mount on the new Voigtlander bodies (but that's Cosina's design 
fault, hey?).
