I'm not sure how far I am from my family, but it's close to the opposite side of the planet, so about as far as you can get on the earth. In previous years we mailed boxes packed with gifts, but this year we all decided to stop this silliness where postage sometimes exceeded gift cost. Of course I'll still have to send someting special to my Mom, but that sure simplifies the whole thing. My wife though is dissapointed in not being able to start early shopping, wrapping, and sending this year.
