Andy, You're totally right! It's my Microsoft Desktop Publishing program that is changing my jpegs into gifs. I'm still reading all my product books over again and trying other things. I will make a (try to) submission through the e-mail as you suggest. I hope the picture comes through better than previously. I want to thank everyone for all your help. It's all so insightful. I'm really not a bad photographer, I just still have a lot to learn concerning the mechanics of the hardware. Now, one more new question for those who compose your own web pages and then upload to a server, what programs do you use? As I said, I'm using the MS DTP.
