I do like the idea that a number of things can be fixed in PS later, it does give one a bit of a safety net. However I want to get things right as much as possible right from the start. As an example............... One of the young people that I was doing "Head Shots" of wore glasses. As I was adjusting the lights I mentioned I was doing it to minimize the reflections from his glasses. He offered to take them off. I asked if he normally wore glasses and he replied that he did. I asked him to keep them on. As I was taking his shots I had him alter his head position and/or glasses and I would slightly change the lights to eliminate or reduce the glare and reflections on his glasses. Yes I can take out the glare and reflections in PS. I would rather do it at the inception of the image. And use PS as a safety net. Again.................
