Brian, They are both very good printers. Canon S9000: I use it VERY fast (8x10 in about a minute) Excellent glossy color photos, perhaps the best currently available Alleged 25-year lifespan for a print Epson 2200: I have only read about it Alleged 100-year print life Some metamerism Very good to excellent matte prints Possibly slightly higher print cost There are other goods/bads about the printers, but this is pretty much the differences. Choose the printer that suits your print needs best. If you sell fine art prints, the Epson would probably be a better choice. For most other purposes, the Canon may have the edge. peace, rand
