Brian,
I've had the epson 2200 since it's introduction and I have been extremely
happy with it. The cartridges for it are relatively inexpensive ~$11. I
mostly use Epson archival matte paper 13"x19", 11"x17 or 8.5"x11", all these
come out very well. I've also tried roll paper but I didn't have it setup
correctly so it was a bit iffy. The picture quality is outstanding.
