Lea's suggestion is very good.  Another option that may give you more
durability is to buy king-size flat sheets.  You're bound to find a color you
like.  When it gets dirty, throw it in the washer.  Want it wrinkled?  Wad it
up and use it as pillow on the couch the night before.

Another alternative is canvas / muslin drop cloth from Home Depot or Lowes.
The big ones do have a seam.  But you can work around it with creative draping
and, as Lea suggested, throwing it out of focus.
