One thing I've done was to buy a roll of white seamless and cut off several
largish hunks. I spray painted one with brown tones, one with blue tones and
one with grey tones and I still had loads of white seamless left over. I put
grommets along the top to hang them from nails in the studio wall. Worked
like a charm.

It's cheap and looked good. Thrown out of focus with a larger aperature, you
could never tell these were hand done.
