Speaking again of Xmas light, I desatted a lot of the orange in the
New Year's Greeting I sent in to the list last night. There was a
lot of orange because I used daylight slide film and most of the
shots from that situation were with on-camera flash. The one in the
greetings page was hand held at a full second, leaning on a police
barrier.
I am curious about how you all feel about the amount of whiteness,
and the general tone of the whiteness of the store windows. They
seem sort of ruthlessly bald to me somehow. Don't quite know how to
describe it, but there's something unreal about just how flat and
white they are.
