Re: xmas light

My thanks to both Luis and Bobberty for their very helpful info.

Incidentally I'm shooting with transparency film, as yet undetermined, and possibly Tungsten, and possibly with both additional daylight and some sort of snooted strobe. Possibly I will snoot a strobe and shoot with daylight film in a darkened room. I want some back light for some of the shots, others with light from behind and to the side. Most of the ornaments I'd be interested in having photographs of are made of clear or translucent colored glass.

Using exclusively the Xmas tree lights was what I started out asking about. So it seems I could shoot about 10 rolls bracketing with all those combinations of filters!

Thanks. Onward and upward.
