Hi Greg,

I was staying with a friend in Alberta, Canada who decided to accompany me
during a photographic outing. Which suited me fine because she knew the
terrain quit well.

We proceeded to drive around, site seeing and frequently stopping so I could
take some landscape photos. At one point I had just finished repacking the
camera gear and tripod into the car when a bear sauntered out of the woods.
It kept it's distance but was aware of our presence. So with my friend at
the wheel and myself in the backseat I took out the 35mm camera and took
some shots from the window of the car. I believe it was taken with a 70 to
200 zoom lens.

We did not hang around for too long.

Regards,

Roderick
