Here are my, very occasional, comments on the current gallery: Dan Mitchell - House - Pity about the 'No Entry' signs and the overhang of the building on the right could have been cropped. Otherwise ther some nice lines to the 'House'. Greg Fraser - Spring - Again, more nice lines and intersections and the grain (or is it the grime) gives the image character. Elson T. Elizaga - Light From The Ship Landing - Elson, is this some type of fungii? If not, what is the physical subject? Bob Talbot - Self Portraits - Nice one Bob, you do like mirrors, don't you (vanity?) remember the earthquake in the shower? Pity about the subject. Roger Eichhorn - Berkeley Arboretum, December 1999 - Lovely Autumn (fall - US) colours and good curves. What is that 'ornament' in the bottom foreground? Brian Chandler - The passers-by - Both together they could be carrying a pipe between them. Is the second lady looking away from the camera or just admiring her shadow? Alan P. Hayes - Study for Buick-Oldsmobile Reunion Two - This image says, 'What you looking at, bud?'. Too much space all around. jIMMY Harris - Unseen Maintenance Men - One of those times when a wide lens work. The lines of the pipes and channels looks good for me. Roderick Chen - Blue - I can see and feel the 'Blue' in this one. D.L. Shipman - Good combination of colours here and the white stands out. Sharpness seems a bit low but that may be in the scanning. Marilyn Dalrymple - Are you sure that isn't one of Andy's bullets streaking across 1/3 of the way up? Ghoulish. David Small - Through a Cyclone Fence - I feel that a straight crop across the top of the wall would help this image. Thanks for allowing me to comment.
