And these two boxes run the same stable ? Have you tried to recompile nntpcache ? If that solves your issue, I assume there's some lib trouble somewhere. I'm quite new to nntpcache but am familiar with freebsd-quirks since 2.2-7 :-P I observe some radius-auth mentions: I do not employ radius. Maybe it's related to that in combo with freebsd ?
