Sounds like u have some specific target/focus in mind?   if u want to
stay focus, it is good to enumerate your specific
goals/targets/questions and perhaps we can make further suggestion.

yes.....a lot of stuff is either implicit and u have to have lots of
other background to fully appreciate the meaning.....OR....u don't
have to understand anything at all.....it is just a specific way of
doing things....there are 1001 other ways u can think of....so just
try to understand the big picture is good enough.
