I think Nidhi would be better off getting a current rpm and upgrading. Assuming Fedora 12, you can get 1.41 rpms at OBS, but those are not vetted by anyone in particular. http://software.opensuse.org/search?baseproject=Fedora%3A12&p=1&q=e2fsprogs If you're really nervous about someone adding some malicious code or just not doing a good job of packaging the rpm, you can create your own OBS repo and upload a fresh tarball and grab the fedora patches and specfile from the above users repo. The patches and specfile should be short enough that you can inspect them yourself to insure nothing malicious is happening. https://build.opensuse.org/package/files?package=e2fsprogs&project=home%3Abravoall1552%3Alincom2010.7.6 (Note, OBS has a new interface and it no longer requires login before allowing you to grab patches, spec files, etc.) Greg -- To unsubscribe from this list: send an email with "unsubscribe kernelnewbies" to ecartis@xxxxxxxxxxxx Please read the FAQ at http://kernelnewbies.org/FAQ
