HI,
i am not getting error i want to run my application whenever i connects projector to my laptop...running application should be automatically for that purpose i want to know where is log for projector connection.
if i connects projector when system is booting then log comes in file /var/log/Xorg.0.log file but if i connects after booting then it is not having connection/disconnection  of projector device to laptop.surely kernel has some log that projector detection that will be useful to my application for running automatically.

normally, Unix/Linux logs (for userspace) should be located in
/var/log.   and the configuration specifying its location for logging
should be somewhere in /etc/.   what is the error string u got?   why
not just search Google for that string?
