Those who have read+write access need to set their envvars as: export CVSROOT=:ext:login-name@humbolt.nl.linux.org:/home/CVS export CVS_RSH="ssh" For read-only access the public repositories are now downloadable via FTP: adres: ftp://ftp.nl.linux.org:/pub/anoncvs/...
