Those curious might want to keep an eye on OSDL's work to gather and generate information on 2.5 stability. The portal's at: http://www.osdl.org/projects/26lnxstblztn/results/ Among other things, there's info on build tests on released trees. There's plenty of ways to become involved, including contributing more information or looking at the information already there.
