You may need to turn on experimental option support in one of the
earlier menus.

http://www.redhat.com/. 2.4.2-2 sounds like a redhat-specific kernel.
(Though I suppose it could have come from any of the linux distributions;
most people who quote these numbers tend to be using redhat kernels.)

Note that 2.4.2-2 is _very_ old and has significant security problems. I
suggest upgrading to RedHat's latest errata kernel for your distribution
version.
