Equalize routing

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Until the weekend, our main router was running kernel 2.4 we have now
changed to 2.6 and have lost the ability to round robin route.

The main box has 2 interfaces (inside, outside) and the outside network
has 5 adsl routers on it.

My default routes for the table in question are ... (ip's changed)

default equalize
        nexthop via 111.222.333.249 dev eth1
        nexthop via 111.222.333.250 dev eth1
        nexthop via 111.222.333.247 dev eth1
        nexthop via 111.222.333.248 dev eth1
        nexthop via 111.222.333.254 dev eth1

All traffic seems to go to .254 in the kernel, under multipath routing,
every option is selected but I don't know how to select a policy in the
"ip route add" command.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Regards
Kevin
