Yes. AFAIK every player do that with text subtitle ( ASS engine - libass, vsfilter ).


Ah, okay, didn't know that -- never played with anything besides VobSub myself, as that's all I'm muxing. VobSubs are bitmaps, though, not text.

I guess, then, if subtitles are supposed to be loading by default, then -noautosub doesn't work with Matroska -- on VobSub or ASS.
