I would assume this. But I have flashed new image myself.
Phone came back with old firmware PR1.1, so I have downloaded
and flashed PR1.1.1.
Your assumption about disabling in firmware could be correct
(as fmtx-faker allows for Greeks to use FM transmitter), but
from what I have read in posts by qwerty12 such a configuration
is stored in different part of device, that can not be
accessed by "mere mortals" - service however should be
able to access this part of memory. For now I am trying
to get Nokia Care to solve this case - but thanks for ideas.

BTW - if someone knows how to change such low-level settings
(and not risking bricking device) feel free sending some tips.
