Thanks for the info.
Script is called fmtx-faker and is present in extras-devel.
Unfortunately it seems that it changes important system info
making impossible to make backups:
https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8148

For now I can live without FM transmitter - but I will be trying
to get replacement device. But I am afraid it can be hard - Nokia Poland
does not seem to employ knowledgeable people, or at least people
who can make a decision without forcing them to do so.
