I consider current 2008 to be a bit bloated even for N8x0, maybe another try with Diablo version would give better results on 770 too? First OS2007 version for N800 (and HE based on it) was also slower than next ones. Looks like there are big improvements regarding speed and memory consumption in current mobile Firefox and hopefully also Microb engine coming in Diablo. This would make sense to have on 770.
