how to access media content from home network to maemo device?

Regarding servers: Firefly (formerly mt-daapd) is a nice iTunes server
that runs on Linux, but I haven't found a good maemo client.  If you
run the gnump3d server then any web broswer can stream your stuff,
including the one on your n810.

I tried the Canola client for maemo and became very frustrated because
I could not just use the stylus to point to what I wanted.  It seems
much more keyboard-oriented than is appropriate for maemo.
