how to access media content from home network to maemo device?

thanks - that looks good, I'll definitely give that a try. One other  
app I ran into was Jinzora ( http://en.jinzora.com/ ) which has a lot  
of features including video.
Apparently it has a slim interface but not sure how good it is.

I'd love to see an app with eye candy like UKMP or Canola support  
remote media.
