Remember that 770 is a low-spec device. Some (linux, free) options are: - mythtv - video lan (vlc) - mencoder - ffmpeg - transcode > - how to stream my ogg files over the internet, and how to tell canola to > look for a remote stream server, You can go with UPnP and a server that supports transcoding (Tversity on windows). Or you can ask Rhythmbox guys to do dynamic transcoding when they provide DMAP/DAAP. Or you can implement a web-server/cgi that transcodes ogg to mp3 and provide URLs as podcasts. > - how to fit all my pictures on the n770. You mean resize them? You can use imagemagick's convert (command line), DigiKam or some gnome tool to batch process images. If you want remote files, you can tell gallery or other web-album software to generate photocasts with desired side. Yet, you can use our auxiliary tool syncropated: http://syncropated.garage.maemo.org/ BTW, syncropated is our tool to sync files with 770 and optimize them. It should fix id3 tags, resize pictures and convert videos. It's not finished yet, but it's improving. -- Gustavo Sverzut Barbieri -------------------------------------- Jabber: barbieri at gmail.com MSN: barbieri at gmail.com ICQ#: 17249123 Skype: gsbarbieri Mobile: +55 (81) 9927 0010 Phone: +1 (347) 624 6296; 08122692 at sip.stanaphone.com GPG: 0xB640E1A2 @ wwwkeys.pgp.net
