I answer below... ##################### Hello List, I followed these instructions (http://maemo.org/platform/docs/multimedia/getting_started.html) to get ogg support working. Compiling and installation went fine: when I tap on an ogg file the audio player starts (at least something ;-) ) followed by an error message about wrong format and than osso-media-server requires 100% cpu time. No ogg playback! :-( How can I find out what's going wrong? Had anyone success on this issue? I'm willing to learn more: any help is appreciated! Regards Krischan -------------- next part -------------- ############################### Sorry, no clues :( However I suppose the issue with the 100% CPU time may be caused by the misuse of the integrated DSP. If the data to be processed is not directed to the Digital Signal Processor, this causes a situation when the CPU has to emulate it, thus causing a lot of cycles to be consumed and the video freezing. I am just guessing though... My advice is to check (again) the format of the variable that stores the filename =) [1]: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nokia_770 [2]: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_signal_processor [3]: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_Instruments_TMS320 ############################### Entra en mi bit?cora: http://alfonsoycia.blogspot.com/ ############################### ______________________________________________ LLama Gratis a cualquier PC del Mundo.
